cristiano in talks for new deal
Cristiano Ronaldo is confident that he will soon reach an agreement with Real Madrid over a contract extension amid
suggestions that he could leave the Spanish powerhouse for Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester United.
The Portugal international's current deal with the Santiago Bernabeu side is due to expire in the summer of 2015 and he
has been linked with a move away from the Liga outfit.
However, the 28-year-old has little doubt that he will ink a contract extension in the not too distant future.
"I know that we will soon reach an agreement. I am feeling very well. I'm calm and not too worried about it," Ronaldo
told reporters in the wake of Portugal's 1-0 win over Russia on Friday.
The prolific attacker joined Madrid from United in the summer of 2009 and has since become a key player at the
Bernabeu.
Ronaldo netted an impressive 55 goals in 55 appearances in all competitions for Madrid in 2012-13.
